Well, I got up at 4:30 am to finish (a.k.a. start) a paper that is due
today along with a presentation (I still have to do that). I am mightily
tired.
So Stu is archiving his email between us, and found a poem he sent my
first year here. Let's say I concur.
Actually, is a poem I wrote, but I don't remember it. Go figure. It's
not the height of my doggerel, but it's not my depth either:
>From: campbelm@querulous.cims.nyu.edu (Mary Campbell)
>Subject: twas the meep before christmas
twas the meep before christmas
and all through new york
not a creature was stirring,
not even with a spork.
the exam grades were hung
on the office doors (with names?!)
meep didn't give a shit
and she hopes you feel the same.
and now she is thinking
of going back to her bed
with dixie and daisy
dancing on her head.
wrapped up in her scarf
and her old trusty hat
she decided this was enough
of this kind of crap.
so guys, i am tired
i am done with this place
for the year, its all over
ive finished the race.
not the usual, good quality poem one expects from the meepster
but i am weary
and have had enough of this math life
raleigh ho!
