Various things:

watching illustrator on 6 train drawing various types of necklines...
sweetheart, plaquet, square, etc. Her style looked familiar, but I was
more impressed with her ability to draw straight lines on the train.

someone in the building died -- 2F, i think. I hope it wasn't due to the
heat.

fruit vendors on the corners -- the mark of any true civilized town.

office -- first refuge from the heat, now way too cold. blergh.

Happy B-day to the Jackal man

dammit, theres another harry potter book out -- in england. WHY THE FUCK
CANT THEY JUST PRINT IN BOTH COUNTRIES AT THE SAME TIME. damn limeys. (i
heard that because so many americans were having the book shipped from
britain - some kind of trade rules for imports might be broken...)
evidently scholastic books will be getting the damn thing out in a couple
months.

By the way, larry gonick, hows the history of the world? enquiring minds
want to know!

John's sister is gonna get married in september. i need to think of a
present for Annette.

Found the crochet hook i was using to make Kelli's baby -- well, play mat,
cause I don't think it will be big enough for a blanket. Especially since
Kyle Patrick was 9 lbs+ at birth. Whew.

My cousin Jen is getting married in October. Seems I'm gonna be going
back down south this year. Got her present halfway finished.

I was approved by the co-op board last week, now I have to see if I can
get the apartment I want... I'm thinking of calling whatever I get
"Antipodal F" or "End-of-the-F'n-Line Ranch". Something like that.

Did I tell you that Ma & John bought some ranchland (pretty scrubby + a
plateau) in Colorado? John has dubbed it "End of Line Ranch". Why not
"End of THE Line Ranch"? Cause it didn't look good on his embroidered
shirt design.

Anybody know a good place to get business cards done? I really should
have something made.

Oh yeah, that bit of 2 weeks I was gone in the middle of June I was in
Vancouver. Kick Ass! I love academic outings. They are so refreshing.

I finally have opened myself a bank acct in NYC after being here for 3
years. About damn time, don't ya think?

My hands are freezing. I think I'll go make me some herbal tea.

mwa sugars.
