There's nothing like a job you don't want to do to make you get a whole
bunch of other things done.

Also, an office bereft of mess is a sad office.

Where have all the turtles gone, long time passing...

Okay, quote from Leslie Greengard (quoting someone else): he's
an-if-statement-in-a-do-loop stupid.

I'm gonna have to use that sometime.

My comment on current events: All you people are crazy. Shut up. Leave
us sane people alone. I think conformity is a sign of imbalance.

So here's a project list for myself - things stored electronically are
less likely to be lost than my scribbles on various blank pieces of paper.

I.Theta-neuron:

   1.Morris-Lecar full - 96 parameters

	i. calc period over type I behavior range, plot
ii. project onto z & y from saddle-node expansion, plot
	iii. project onto theta
iv. compare to theta model fit for constant current

   2.Morris-Lecar full - 98 parameters

	i. calc where saddle-node bifurcation occurs
	   a. bifurcation diagram in parameter space
	   b. see which bifurcation has negative eignvalue of Jacobian
ii. calc period over type I behavior range, plot
iii. project onto z & y from saddle-node expansion, plot
iv. compare to theta model fit for constant current

3.Write the stuff up in LaTeX, organize

II.Info Theory coding

1.Rederive my main statements, perhaps start with possible continuous
input? How would mutual info be calculated?

   2.LaTeX it up.

III.Burger's Eqn paper

   1. Read it, look over Maple stuff -- something in complex
	representation?

IV. Fractals

   1. Write 1st chap, -- scaling pictures, scenes, models, etc.

V.DNA string matching

   1. Look at papers I have already - see what's out there, talk to
Mishra.

Okey pokey, time to grade the tests, and make up the exam.
