Alas, poor Yorick, spring has come at late last. Old murals
ripped down, and new ones up. (The one behind Tower Video (and the garden
shop) got rid of that neat grotesque and replaced with a bland skyline. I
wonder if it will change any more?). Old restaurants renovating, new
places opening up. Got a Japanese-style karaoke bar opening up...Can't
figure out what they're building in the ex-parking lot around the corner.
Karaoke is okeydokey by me....
I intended to get some real studying done this week, but I am too
distracted by thoughts of Kanki, and Bali Hai, and the Melting Pot, oh my!
Fondue... Been looking for wedding dresses, but just can't find anything
in Stuart's size.....I'll wait til I get home.
Guliassini has gone too far now...banning food vendors from
certain areas. Oh yes, there has been another collapse -- ramp to
boardwalk at Coney Island. New York is dissolving... no need to plant
bombs anywhere, this place will fall apart on its own accord.
Trying to think up businesses for myself. What would a free lance
mathematician do? Maybe I'll run math summer camps. I have to think on
this.
I had a diatribe for today, but I can't possibly remember what it
was about. Guns? Clothes? Literature? Pronunciation of latin? (I was
right! I was right!) Maybe about the destruction necessary before new
creation is possible... in a place like Manhattan. I'm thinking of taking
a writing course, so possibly I will become more lucid.
And then, perhaps I will take over the world.
