Tirade #2 
(isn't Mary in a grand mood.  blah, my feet/shoes smell) 
 
	In this age of genetic predestination, I have discovered a gene  
(or rather, a gene complex) that has a wide-ranging impact on society at  
large.  Almost all violent criminals have been found to possess this gene  
complex: I recommend vigilant monitoring of all who carry it, and the  
possibility of gene therapy to rectify the situation. 
 
	I speak, of course, of the Y chromosome. 
 
	Yes, because almost all violent acts in society are done by males,  
and have been for quite some time, this indicates to me that men are  
genetically predisposed to crime.  Perhaps we should, well not  
incarcerate, but put these people in special homes where they can be  
carefully watched.  We all know by now that one cannot fight against one's  
genes.  These poor humans cannot help their condition but do pose a  
threat to public safety.  These people are behind most of the obscenity  
and sexual predation found on IRC and the Web; this population should be  
contained simply as a preventative measure to protect the well-being of  
society as a whole. 
 
	It is unfortunate that we cannot keep these people from breeding  
as of yet, but I hear there are plans in the research stage with some good  
results so far.  Once it takes less than 300 eggs to get one good clone,  
these people afflicted with the Y chromosome will no longer sully our  
genetic pool.
