So my newest livejournal haiku:

I'm so damned tired, I've got to start going home earlier.  I have to bake some 
banana bread tonight to feed the bb fiend.   
 
Telegram for Ms. Reader: New money-making idea -- Itinerant teacher (though I 
guess they've also been called guest lecturers...).  I've noticed how popular 
homeschooling has become (and also noticed that many people older than my 
parents have school-aged children), and have thought - most parents are going to 
hit points in subjects such as math and science where they're not going to be 
able to satisfactorily help the kids, much less correct any work they do.  Also, 
most people don't have the equipment to do lab science (or the experience to 
understand scientific procedures.)  So I could provide that, in person. 
 
I was thinking of building up a series of courses and lectures in different 
areas - modules, if you will.  I'm also of thinking of setting up field trip 
packages, but maybe that would be part of something else.  Like a trip to a 
bakery after I've done something on food chemistry (though we could try making 
bread ourselves with different flours). 
 
Anyway, that's an idea. 
 
Had my expected pap&pelvic today and a totally unexpected digital rectal 
exam.  Dammit, I don't have a prostate!  I need to get my eyes checked sometime.
