Why, hello there

Yeah, I know I haven't typed here in months. I could say I'm getting too old for this kind of navel-gazing, except that I rarely looked at my belly here before and now I'm looking at my belly alot. In a few months, I won't be able to see more of myself other than my belly.

Perhaps, you think, I've had little to say and thus restricted myself to livejournal. That's not true either, as I've had plenty to say, but I've mainly been telling it to Stu or my belly. (Yes, I am very belly-centered now. I even rub it for good luck, though I've told my sister Amy that she is getting bad karma by rubbing my belly. Do not anger the pregnant woman.

I could guess that the annoyance of using this system -- I type faster than the browser registers characters, and so I have to keep going back to insert more characters. That's the most likely. I'm going to have to write my own offline blog tool (in perl, natch) to get around this.

In any case, I have to go to my guitar lesson. So howdy again. I may come back within the month, but no promises.
